Signal Partners forms and manages private investment vehicles that hold a position in one company at a time. We invest where one of us has a working relationship with the business and its leadership, and we open each vehicle to a small number of people we already know. We take no management fee; our interest is a share of the profit after our partners have been repaid in full.

We are based in Central Florida and New Orleans.

Kelly McCarthyManaging Member

Kelly is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Celebration Health & Wellness in Central Florida, and the owner of Celebration Pediatrics and Celebration OBGYN, where she has built physician practices around high-quality patient care and disciplined operations. Before healthcare she worked in investment banking, and she brings that experience in strategic planning, business development and capital formation to everything she runs. She is a co-founder of the M Family Foundation, which supports women and children in their fight against cancer.

Paul HarrisMember

Paul is Chief of Operations of a private foreign-exchange investment and research firm and a formal adviser to the chief executive of an AI-native therapeutics company. A lawyer by training, he was previously a senior executive at the Central Intelligence Agency, where he was head of external relations. Before that he worked in international affairs at the Vatican. He holds law degrees from Cambridge University and a master's in international policy studies from Oxford.

Sean M. Kane, CFAMember

Sean was a founding partner of Cardinal Investment Advisors, an institutional investment consultancy serving insurance companies and corporate pensions, which grew to be the largest specialty firm in the insurance space in North America and the second largest globally, with more than $350 billion in assets under advisement. He led the deal team on Cardinal's acquisition by Mariner Wealth Advisors, now part of Mariner Institutional. Earlier he managed retirement and benefit plan investments for The Procter & Gamble Company and was Senior Director of Financial Planning and Analysis at CHEP Americas. He holds a BBA from the University of Miami and an MS from Purdue University, and has held the CFA charter since 1998.
